Deeptech R&D and innovation for energy

In energy, a technology must hold up on existing assets, over time and safely. We help teams prove what matters before deploying.

Sector constraints

What makes innovation hard

  • Safety and regulatory compliance
  • Integration with existing assets
  • Service life and maintenance
  • Availability and operations
  • Costs and supply chain

Typical deadlocks

Situations we know how to handle

A working demonstrator that is not yet deployable

A technology can work on a pilot site with encouraging performance, while deployment raises other questions: costs, maintenance, safety, service life, supply chain.

Our approach Separate technology maturity (TRL) from manufacturing maturity (MRL), and tie each stage to the evidence expected.

Measuring in real conditions

Monitoring equipment requires reliable measurements in a constrained environment, sometimes where existing sensors are too bulky or ill-suited.

Our approach Design and prototype dedicated measurement solutions, then validate them on a bench before on-site trials.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is a demonstrator working on a pilot site ready for deployment?

Not necessarily. Scaling up raises constraints of cost, availability, maintenance, safety, service life and compliance. That is where the gap between TRL and MRL becomes critical.

Which constraints should be anticipated from the first tests?

Integration with existing assets, safety, maintenance and service life. Testing them early avoids validating a technology that cannot be operated.

At what maturity level do you work?

Between TRL 2 and 6, when critical points still need to be proven before committing to deployment.
