Technology to validate

This is for you if…

  • A technology looks promising, but the evidence is still thin.
  • You have to commit budget with too little certainty.
  • You need to choose between several technical options.
  • Off-the-shelf tools hit their limits on your need.
  • It is becoming hard to defend continuing the project internally.

What we do

Evidence built in-house

We do not just recommend: we design, prototype and test in-house the technological building blocks that produce the evidence. Software, electronics, sensors, mechanics and complex systems.

Demonstrators

Show that a principle works, in conditions close enough to reality to decide.

Prototypes

Decision-making instruments, not mock-ups: each one answers a specific question.

Targeted tests

Measure a performance, compare two options, reveal an integration constraint.

Maturation

Move a building block from one maturity level to the next, between TRL 2 and 6.

Our approach

How we move forward

A fixed-price scoping phase, then short fixed-price iterations, each ending with a tangible object and a measurement. After each iteration, you decide whether to continue or stop. Prototyping and testing in our workshop.

  1. Frame the deadlock

Pinpoint what could make the project fail and state the critical hypotheses to test.

  2. Ideate and design

Explore the technical options and design candidate solutions.

  3. Prototype

Quickly build prototypes designed as decision-making instruments, not finished products.

  4. Experiment and decide

Test, measure, then deliver a decision file: continue, redirect or stop.

A prototype is not a mock-up: it is a decision-making instrument.

What you get

  • A decision file at every iteration
  • Tested technological building blocks
  • Demonstrators and prototypes
  • Dead ends stopped in time

Case studies

Evidence already delivered

Reliable, integrable oil-level measurement

Challenge
Existing solutions lack reliability and integrate poorly.
Our answer
A fibre-optic sensor that is more precise, lighter and easy to integrate, with embedded AI.
Outcome
Significantly improved precision and integration, prototype validated on a test bench.

Embedded monitoring of rotating parts

Challenge
Measuring deformations in real conditions, in a high-frequency rotating environment.
Our answer
An autonomous, wireless embedded system instrumented with optical fibre.
Outcome
Real-time measurement validated on a bench: structural health and anomaly detection.

Diagnostics of embedded optical networks

Challenge
Diagnosing short, compact optical networks where off-the-shelf tools hit their limits.
Our answer
A high-resolution reflectometry instrument tailored to these networks.
Outcome
Precise location of faults and breaks, usable in maintenance.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How mature does the project need to be?

Not everything needs to be framed yet. We step in precisely when some critical points remain unresolved, typically between TRL 2 and 6.

Hardware, software or both?

Both. Software, electronics, sensors, mechanics and complex systems. We design as much as we build: prototyping and testing are done in-house.

What concrete results can we expect?

Depending on the case: months of hesitation avoided, a decision made possible sooner, a wrong track stopped in time. You leave with tested technological building blocks and data to decide.

How much does a project cost?

It depends on where you start. A prototype built on an existing technology costs less than one that must first bring the technology into existence. The fixed-price scoping phase tells you which: you know the price of the first iteration before committing to anything.

What if we already have a strong R&D team?

That is usually where we create the most value. We work alongside your teams to accelerate a priority topic, bring credible outside expertise or decide between several options, without creating dependency.

How do you protect sensitive or confidential topics?

The framework is set from the start: contractual confidentiality, defined governance and appropriate management of intellectual property.

A technology to prove before you decide?

30 minutes to identify the evidence that will unlock your decision.
